Seminole State Volleyball Fall to Northeastern OK Wednesday

The Seminole State Volleyball team took on Northeastern Oklahoma A&M college Wednesday evening.

The Lady Trojans fell to the Lady Norsemen 3-1 but bounced right back on the 25th at home against OBU with a win. With the win against OBU JV, Head Coach Hannah Kemp secured her 100th career win.

Seminole State started out strong against the Lady Norsemen Wednesday evening with a 25 to 20 first set.

The battle was on after that first set as Seminole State lost a close set 26-24 in the second. NEO stepped up their offense in the third set, going 25-11 to take the lead.

The fourth set was another tough battle, but the Lady Norsemen edged out the Lady Trojans 25-23 to win the match.

Seminole State’s Kara Doan and Breana Stumbo each had 12 kills on the evening.

Malerie Hawk had 32 digs with 8 kills.

Seminole State are 21-15 on the season, 2-2 in conference and 9-3 at home.

The Lady Trojans have finished their regular season with their last game being OBU at home.

Seminole State head into Region II Tournament on the 1st of November with two games against Rose State and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, Oklahoma.
