Seminole State Trojans Dominate Langston at Home Tuesday
The Seminole State Trojan basketball team is riding high on a 3-game winning streak.
The Trojans hosted the Langston JV basketball team Tuesday night and dominated the game from the jump.
In the first half of the game, Seminole State found the basket much easier than Langston did with Joseph Hunter scoring 16 points from the field and Ejay Greer scoring 12 to help the Trojans go on a 67-31 run in the first half.
Langston put up around four 3-point shots in the first half and tried match shots with the Trojans in the second half but fell well short of that goal.
Seminole State went back to work on offense after the break. Trojan’s Hunter again put up 14 points and teammate Jaylan Jackson got in on the action with 12 points scored from the field.
Seminole State cruised in for the win with a final score of 121-60.
Leading for Seminole State was Joseph Hunter with 32 points and was one of three from the free throw line.
Jaylan Jackson scored 21 points, one three-point shot and was two of two from the line.
Ejay Greer had 16 points on the evening.
Leading for Langston was R. Wilson with 12 points.
Next up for the Trojans is an away game at Clarendon College in Clarendon, TX today at 6 p.m.
The next home game for SSC is December 1st against Clarendon. The game is set to tipoff at 5 p.m.
