Seminole State Soccer Stay Undefeated at Home

Seminole State Soccer hosted the Rose State Lady Raiders on a gloomy Sunday afternoon. The light rain didn’t deter the Lady Trojans as they posted their third straight win.

The Lady Trojans 5-1-2 and 3-0-1 in Conference. SSC is undefeated at home.

With just shortly after three minutes into the game, Lady Trojan Ashlynn Vargas scored an unassisted goal to put SSC on the board.

The Lady Raiders fought back over the next fifteen minutes, but Seminole State found their way to the goal again when Mary Awuah scored who was assisted by teammate Claire Navarro.

Rose State finally struck back and got on the board at the 25-minute mark when Lady Raider Aubrey Smith scored the single goal, assisted by Libby Homes.

Before the half was up, Seminole State added to their score when Lady Trojan Zoe Trenchard scored an unassisted goal to go up 3-1 at the half.

The second half of the game was a game of defenses from both sides as neither team scored a goal.

The Seminole State Lady Trojans won the match 3-1.

Seminole State’s Haylie Allen was the goalie and had seven saves through 90 minutes of play.

Next up for the Lady Trojans is a home game against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on the 28th at 2 p.m.
