The Seminole Bass Club will hold their annual KIDS FISHING TOURNAMENT at Sportsman Lake on June 21, 2025.

The event is free to the public. Kids must furnish their own fishing equipment. Bass club members will be available to register all fishermen and fisherwomen starting around 8:00 a.m. Fishing can then get started at 8:30 a.m.

Age groups for participants are 0-3; 4-6; 7-9; 10-12; 13-15. Parents may assist the younger age groups; however, they cannot catch fish for them. Parents/guardians caught catching fish for their kids will be disqualified.

The tournament will end at 11:00 a.m. with the weighing of all fish caught. Lunch will be served to all participants and parents. Kids will receive awards (trophy) and prizes. All kids will receive a prize. In addition, the winners of the raffle will be awarded one of four prizes. First prize is a $100.00 gift certificate, Second prize is $75.00 gift certificate, Third prize is a $50.00 gift certificate, and Fourth prize is a $25.00 gift certificate, all from Wal Mart.

Another prize drawing will also be held for anyone in attendance.

The base club sells tickets for the main drawing for $1.00 each to help pay for the event. Any club member will have tickets to purchase for the Wal Mart certificates.

The club wishes to thank all who purchased the tickets or made a donation to the Seminole Bass Club to help sponsor this event. Getting the kids outdoors and away from electronic tv and games.

Please watch your kids carefully. Water levels are high, and the hooks are sharp. Some may not want to put a worm on a hook either.
