Who says we have to fight? Why should we fight? It doesn’t affect me, why should I care? It won’t be near me, why should I speak up? It won’t affect my cows or my property.

All of these questions and more have come to my mind since a day in September when I got a call from one of my precious neighbors. She said, “Nana have you heard about the Wind Turbines that are coming to Hughes County?” And so, it began. The very fight of my life and every life in Hughes County and in Oklahoma!

I’ve been stewing on this controversial subject for months. Contemplating what I could say to Fourteen Thousand people to warn them about Wind Turbines, Solar Fields and Humanure? What could I say to bring awareness of the devastation that is about to Play out, like a bad movie, before our eyes. What can I say to wake people up while they sill have a choice, a voice and a vote?

The truth is we are almost at a point where, if we don’t speak up now, next week could be too late. You say I’m fear mongering. I wish I was.

There is so much information to be shared to unify against the Green New Energy Scam. Our very survival depends on what we do in the next few months.

I have the best neighbors, and I value them. I don’t think they would do anything intentionally to harm the land or our livelihood. I think that information has been skewed to the benefit of the perpetrators infiltrating our state. The information is there for those that seek the truth. I believe there are several landowners that know the implications of their choices and regret signing leases with companies that don’t have Hughes County and Oklahoma in their best interests.

I didn’t ask for this fight. I wanted to ride my horses, barrel race, raise chickens, garden and drink coffee on my patio. This fight has come to the threat of my home, your home and belongs to all of us! We must speak up now because the opposition has lobbyists in the Capitol sitting in on all the Green New Scam hearings and furthering their agendas. They don’t sleep; they have billions of our tax dollars to fight us with.

The Hughes County threat is spending money on almost any hole that will accept money. They are throwing money at any entity that will accept their funds, from the Chamber of Commerce to a local sports banquet. Can we say bribes are being levied against us?

I/We will continue to fight this battle because we can see where this is going, we can see what has been done in other communities that have accepted this curse. No, my age group in Hughes County will not suffer the effects that The Green New Energy Scam will bring with it. It is still a few months out before phase two starts. They still must get their toe in a few more doors before they have the hold on Hughes County they need to start the process of destroying our county. They still must lie and tell residents what an awesome opportunity this is for Hughes County and all the tax benefits we will receive for the schools.

Rest assured; the damage that will be done by The Green New Scam will never be compensated with enough money to cover the health and safety of our children, grands and great grands. The studies completed from the devastating effects of the Green New Scam all over the world are horrifying.

A few have been fighting this devastating sweep across Oklahoma, this is a non-partisan effort, and more are needed before we can’t fight at all. We the People will have a rally on MAY 15TH, 6:30 PM, HOLDENVILLE OUTDOOR PAVILION. Representatives Jim Shaw, Logan Winn, Neil Hayes and several more will be guest speakers. Bring your lawn chairs!
