Don’t Fall For The Counterfeiting of The Bible

…And Then What Happened?

(A note from The Producer’s Editor: He apologizes for omitting the writer’s name of last week’s column writing ‘Here Comes the Judge,’ written by Cheryl Lynne Lucas.)

Our world was created by God, no question. And there are 2 forces that can affect every human being. You see it expressed in movies: the battle between the good and the bad. These forces are real: The Good Force is from God and the Bad Force is from the evil one, satan. Yes, satan is real, too, and is having a hey-day in these times.

The Bible warns us about what happens to us when we, in our free will, chose to follow either Force. It teaches us about how the world will change as the end of our world will come. In the last few years, weird, strange things, (as the Bible even describes), have been occurring. We are now seeing these changes like never before.

I’m learning most of our churches aren’t teaching us to prepare for these times. These times are described in the Bible, in both the Old and New Testament, especially in the Book of Revelation. I’ve researched this fact and am learning this is because, either the pastors don’t study or fully understand what is happening and will happen in the coming future. I learn it may be because they don’t want to scare people. They want to preach what will keep them comfortable. Other teachings in the Bible, especially about immorality, are also being avoided because so many people go by their carnal desires. I mean if ‘everybody is doing it’ it must be okay, right? Churches are supported by congregational tithes and offerings. If people are offended, they will leave these places and go elsewhere, wherever they hear washed down versions of the Word.

I got to thinking about these things when I came across an old clipping from my mother’s collection. It is a poem called GOD’S MASTERPIECE. It goes like this: Our God has many, many names—Creator, King of Kings, The Great Physician, Savior, Ruler of all Things.

But here is one not mentioned as often as the rest. Of all the world’s great artists, my Jesus is the best.

He planned the world’s first garden, designed each perfect rose. He put the artist’s touch on everything that grows.

We think a man is wonderful if he can paint a scene with snow upon the mountains or use shades of blue and green.

For the ocean’s mighty waves or some bright and sunlit glade, but all he does is copy what God already made.

In every tiny snowflake that falls down from above, in every leaf and petal the Artist shows His love.

His every work is perfect; each one would win a prize, but His greatest masterpiece He spread across the skies: Yellow, red, and orange, purple, green, and blue—the rainbow does the best job of saying ‘I love you.’ written by Ruth Anne Wasson.

I am purposely, lightly touching on Scripture. I am not a preacher, but I am one whose life has been transformed for the best by surrendering my life to my Creator like millions have for over 2,000 years.

We’ve been seeing today how the evil Force, who knows the Bible, uses Scripture to change or twist its meanings in perverted ways. For instance, the rainbow was first seen after the Flood to remind people of God’s promise he would never flood the earth again. It was a beautiful reminder of His power as Creator. Now, in our changing world, it has become an emblem of a different way of living.

I will share something mind-boggling here: Country singer, John Rich of the group Big and Rich, has now surrendered his life to Christ. He now wants to sing for God. He now has a song called REVELATION, which also has a video that should wake up people to do some research of its meaning. I saw on YouTube Carson Tucker’s interview with John Rich’s explanation of the song, and then his understanding of what the Book of Revelation is telling us what will happen in the end times.

Hopefully some preachers will be excited when hearing this clear explanation of Revelation and re-read these Scripture that Rich reads to us.

We are definitely going through these times now, no question. I urge you to Google Rich’s song. A ‘light bulb’ will come on to urge you to do some researching!
