CASSIE’S CROCK POT ROAST
1 roast beef, medium size
1 package Ranch Dressing mix
1 package Brown Gravy mix
1 package Italian Dressing mix
1/2 cup water or more Mix all envelope mixes together and sprinkle on top of roast in crock pot. Pour water in bottom of crock pot. Cook on low
6-7 hours.
THE BEST CHILI EVER
2 pounds lean hamburger meat 2 small onions Add enough oil to brown meat with chopped onions, then drain before adding the following:
1 pound 12 oz can tomatoes (approx.). Boil, then simmer meat till tender. Add 2 15oz. cans chili beans, 3 tablespoons chili powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Simmer about 30 minutes. Used by family for years.
MOM’S CROCK POT BAKED BEANS
2 16oz. can pinto beans
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoon dry minced onions
2 teaspoon prepared mustard
4-6 slices fried crumbled, crispy bacon
1/2 c. catsup Pour beans into crock pot, add remaining ingredients. Stir and cover. Cook 6-8 hours on low.
HOT DIP
1/2 pound hot peppers
1 medium onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water Mince pepper and onions. Mix with liquid. Chill overnight.
MOM’S DELICIOUS BBQ BALLS 1/1/2 pounds ground beef
1 5-oz can evaporated milk
1 cup quick oats
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder Mix all ingredients together. Shape into walnut size meatballs. Put in 9x13 pan, then make sauce.
Combine and stir well these ingredients:
1 1/2 cups catsup
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon liquid smoke Then pour or brush over meatballs and bake for 1 hour in 350 degree oven.
