Worrell

Michael Eugene “Mike” Worrell, age 57, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, at his home. Mike was born April 2, 1966 in Arlington, Texas.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Jimmie and O.W. Johnston; and his father and step-mother, Gene and Bobbie Worrell.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Joni Worrell of Seminole; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and April Diggs of Naples, Texas; one sister, Amy Main of San Antonio, Texas; one step-brother and step-sister-in-law, Gary and Cyndie Ward of Wylie, Texas; one step-sister and step-brother-in-law, Laurie and Mike Jenkins of San Antonio, Texas; four grandsons, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples, TX with Revs. Charles Thomas, Jay Frazier, and Stan Raibley officiating. Interment will follow at Naples Cemetery in Naples.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church in Seminole.
