Women on Mission met at the home of Phyllis Williamson and the ladies present were Jill Kinney, Kathy Smith, Ginger Ryan, Maria Benton, Joy Smith, Pam Stewart, Jackie Whitlow, Linda Evans, Karissa Tucker, Leslie Scott, Susan Newberry and Phyllis Williamson.

Linda Evans gave the lesson on God’s Light, referencing scripture from Genesis to Revelation with the focus on John 8:12. Jesus spoke to them and said “I am the Light of the World. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”

Linda Evans encouraged the ladies to listen for the Spirit in each of us prompting us to respond to people in need when we encounter them on the mission field where we live.

Pray we will use our resources to show others the light of Jesus.

Linda Evans announced that Wewoka FBC has scheduled VBS for June 8th through 12th from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Our next meeting is April 23rd at 1:30 p.m.
