The Oklahoma Film + Music Office in partnership with the Oklahoma City Film & Creative Industries Office, Tulsa FMAC and Cherokee Film is inviting all film and music industry members to Film and Music Day at the Capitol on Tuesday, April 7 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

“Oklahoma Film and Music Day at the Capitol is a meaningful opportunity for our local professionals to highlight the depth of talent and the real economic and cultural impact the industry has on our state,” said Oklahoma Film and Music Office (OF+MO) Director Jeanette Stanton. “Participation in this event underscores the incredible momentum film and music has in Oklahoma, and it reinforces the importance of continued investment in these growing industries. We’re incredibly grateful to the partners, vendors, workforce, and talent who make this showcase possible.” Lieutenant Governor Matt Pinnell will provide opening remarks followed by Cherokee Nation Deputy Principal Chief Bryan Warner. The event will kick-off with a special performance of the National Anthem by country singer Krystal Keith, daughter of Oklahoma music icon Toby Keith. Live music from other Oklahoma artists including Joleen Brown, Ellessee and OKCU’s Blackwelder Brass will be featured throughout the day.

Dozens of exhibitors will be on display with booths representing Oklahoma’s robust film and music sectors including organizations specializing in career development opportunities, workforce training, business services, community resources and more. Film and Music Day hotel partner Champion Hotels will also be there with representatives from the Recording Academy, the Location Managers Guild and SAG-AFTRA.
