Cenola Dale age 90, passed awayTuesday, October 31, 2023 in Little Rock, AR. She was born February 17, 1933 in Wewoka, OK to the late Henry Cooper and Mary Cooper.

James Harold Phillips, age 84 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away November 7, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. A graveside service with military honors is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.

Seminole resident, Bessie Spencer, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 in Shawnee. Bessie, the daughter of Buddy and Alice (Miller) Little, was born December 5, 1930, in Seminole County. She grew up in the Little Community and attended the local Indian Mission School.

Norman resident, Zachary Shawn Maples, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 31. Zac, the son of Todd and Rita (Harjo) Maples, he was born August 11, 1992, in Oklahoma City. Zac graduated from Butner High School with the class of 2010.

Ivone (Hollingsworth) Nail, age 94 and a resident of Sasakwa, Oklahoma passed away November 5, 2023 at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Oklahoma. A Graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

Lillie “Rita” May Factor age 76, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023. She was born July 27, 1947 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She married Edward Ollie Factor on August 19, 1968 in Poteau, OK.

Misty Diane (Smith) Nuncio, age 39 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away in San Marcus, Texas on October 30, 2023. A memorial graveside service at Vamoosa Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

Weger Florene Weger passed away Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 91. Florene was born September 23rd, 1932 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Arthur Carter and Dora Jane (Milum) Carter. She attended Wetumka public school.

Shirley Ann Thornton entered her Heavenly home Oct. 30, 2023. She was born June 7, 1934. Services are 2:00pm, Sat. Nov. 4, 2023 at the Little Chapel of Roses at Resthaven, 500 S.W. 104th St. OKC, OK 73139. Visitation is one hour prior to services from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.

Charles Gregory Kemp (Coach Kemp) was a Seminole resident who passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at his home, at the age of 56 years old. Coach Kemp was born on September 1, 1967 in Wewoka, OK to Arnold G. Kemp and Alzetta L. Doolittle (Kemp).
