Korean War prisoner of war, Cpl. R. V. Leo Short, who was missing in action, will be brought home and be laid to rest on December 9, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Wolf Cemetery with military honors. Leo was born on September 23, 1931 to Owen E. Short and Winnie (Whitaker) Short.

Watts Anthony Wayne “Tony” Watts, age 63, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at his home. Tony, the son of Kyle and Keitha (Williams) Watts, was born April 17, 1960 in Seminole. Tony spent many of his early years in Seminole County, before moving to the El Reno area.

Guess Larry Guess age 72, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 in Holdenville, OK. He was born April 24, 1951 in Sasakwa, Ok to the late Jimmie Guess and Estelle (Dangerfield) Guess. He married Jerena Lavon (Barkus) Guess on October 5, 1970 in Wewoka, OK.

Allen Terry Don Allen passed away November 24, 2023 in Springfield, Missouri. Terry was born October 2, 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma and attended Strother Public Schools. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and hot rods.

Cully Tiffany Michelle (Ahgoom) Cully, Seminole resident, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 in Oklahoma City at the age of 38. Tiffany was born on August 22, 1985 in Ada, OK to Steven Stewart Ahgoom and Theresa Ann (Powell) Ahgoom.

Kirkwood William James “Billy” Kirkwood, age 51 and a lifetime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at his home on November 25, 2023. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Dale Ray Huskins, Shawnee, OK resident, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 in Shawnee, at the age of 63. Dale was born on March 25, 1960 in Oakland, CA to Hershel Dolphin Huskins and Jessie Faye (Jackson) Huskins. He spent most of his life in the Shawnee area.

Villines Sadie Marie Villines, 72, longtime Wolf community resident, passed from this life on Friday, November 17, 2023. Sadie was born on March 27, 1951 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to George William (Bill) Clark and Bertie Mae (Bolin) Clark.

Hooten Karen Lea (Seal) Hooten: 1940-2023 Karen Lea Hooten wife, mother, friend, artist - lost an unfair fight with cancer on Nov. 19, 2023. She was only 83 years old. Karen was born in Chickasha, Okla., and graduated from Capitol Hill High School.

Opal Imogene Crabtree, 90, Seminole resident and former Howe, Oklahoma resident passed from this life on Friday, November 17, 2023 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Opal was born on October 19, 1933 in Howe, Oklahoma to her parents, William Angus Thrift and Ada (Ary) Thrift.
