Hudson Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Konawa, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Rev. Mitch Williams and Rev. Heath Sapp will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

Johnson Darian Trent Johnson, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at his home at the age of 50. Darian was preceded in death by his parents and many other treasured family members.

Dotson Seminole resident, Joan Dotson, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in Seminole, at the age of 81.

Wurtz Sherri Renee Wurtz, age 60, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 at her home in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was born February 24, 1964 in Fresno, California to Jerry Wurtz and Jo Ann (Duren) Smith. She graduated from Wewoka High school. She loved plants, her dogs, and especially her daughter.

Harjo Wayland Shane Harjo, age 47 and a resident of Tonkawa, Oklahoma passed away February 15, 2025 at Hennessey Care Center in Hennessey, Oklahoma. Viewing is at Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, and a wake service is scheduled from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Hurst Reta Jean Hurst, longtime Maud, Oklahoma resident, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at her home in Maud at the age of 73. Reta was born September 16, 1951 in Seminole, Oklahoma to James W. “Red” and Norma Jean (Brackin) Hurst. She graduated from Maud High School in 1969.

Dorothy Lea Carter passed away Tuesday, February 11th, 2025 at her home in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the age of 92. Dorothy was born February 2nd, 1933 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Don Tripp and Ada Avis (Taylor) Tripp. She attended school at Freedom public school.

Deborah Kaye Sewell age 65, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Rev. James Eugene Jackson, 62, Prague, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life to his heavenly reward on Friday, February 7, 2025, at his home in Prague, Oklahoma. James was born on January 24, 1963, in Grand Prairie, Texas to Marion Sue (Peoples) Jackson and Richard Monroe Jackson.
