Wewoka resident, Donna Kay Hayes, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at her home, at the age of 84. Donna, the daughter of James Elkins and Martha (Alford) Hayes, was born February 17, 1941, in Concho, Oklahoma.

Services for Gayla Sue Ricketts were held Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah with Rev. Nancy Dodson officiating. Gayla Sue Ricketts was born August 13, 1966 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Phillip Dale Barnes and Wanda Sue (Williams) Barnes.

Betty Kennemer age 86, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025 at her home in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born July 25, 1938 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Joe Keller Stubblefield and Fayla Viola (Moody) Hurst. She was raised in Cromwell, Oklahoma on an oil lease. She started school in Maud.

John Travis Lemmings, 60, longtime Seminole resident passed from this life on June 6, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. John was born to Thomas Leon Lemmings and Anita Marie (Vaughn) Lemmings on September 5, 1964, in San Diego, California.

Cook Long-time Wewoka resident Patsy Cook passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025 in Edmond, OK after a brief illness. She was born May 11, 1939 in Holdenville, OK to Sylvester Barbee (S.B.) Taylor and Goldie Beatrice (Robertson) Taylor, the second of their two children.

Anson James Kenneth Anson, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 63. James was born on July 3, 1961 in Holdenville to Woodrow Thomas Anson Jr. and Mary Beatrice (Roberts) Anson.
