Astra Jean Gavrel was born sleeping March 29, 2025 at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas to parents, Tara S. (Van Brunt) and Christopher Timothy Gavrel of Richmond, Texas.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Wanette Cemetery Chapel in Wanette, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. Rev. David Holland will officiate, and burial will follow at Wanette Cemetery.
She is survived by her parents Tara and Christopher Gavrel of the home; one sibling sister, Kaydee Mae; paternal grandmother, DeeAnn Gavrel; maternal grandparents, Troy Van Brunt and Sandra G. Molina, and Scott and Debbie Howard; and a host of family and friends.
