Tax Prop Passes, Geohagan Claims SPS Board Seat

Seminole County voters on Tuesday overwhelmingly approved the extension of a countywide quarter cent sales tax to fund emergency services. Of the 969 votes cast, about 82 percent were in favor of the referendum, which was split into three proposals.
