Of these 37,076 are Democrats, and 6897 are Republicans.

Butner 11,141 54%
Melson 9488 46%

In the August 25th Butner-Melson-Pettis race 14,632 people voted.

Butner received 7170 (49%) and Melson had 6218 (42.5%)

Seminole County has 14,365 registered voters.

11,570 are Democrat, 2214 are Republican, 580 are Independent, and 1 is Reform party.

On August 25, 4729 Democrats voted in the Seminole County Treasurer's race.
