Factor Josephine Factor age 90, passed on to her heavenly home Monday, April 29, 2024 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was born February 9, 1934 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to the late (Big) John Factor and Lou Gene (Choate) Factor.

She attended Eufaula Boarding school where she learned to play the piano; graduated from New Lima High School in 1953. She had some college at OBU and Seminole Jr College. She was a faithful servant of Akasvmkv Baptist Church, Wewoka. She worked in the sewing manufacturing industry, teacher’s aide and caregiver. Josephine enjoyed sewing patchwork, quilting, attending church functions and singing with the Native Praise Choir. She was a proud member of The Great Seminole Nation of Oklahoma and the Ocese Band.

Preceding her in death the father of her children Solomon Sonnie Fish, her parents, sons; Dennis Gene Fish and Bennie Lloyd Fish, grandson George A Burgess Jr; brothers; Earl Factor, Charles Factor, Billy Factor, sisters; Joycette Factor and Delores Tiger.

Leaving to cherish her memories are daughters; Sharon Burgess of Wewoka, Lucy Kelough of Seminole; grandchildren Christophor Burgess of Earlsboro, Gary Burgess wife Megan, Garrett and Grady of Wewoka; Sonya Burgess and Gia of Wewoka; Dennis Fish Jr wife Amber, Vinny and Katie of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; Kenneth Fish wife Crystal, Hannah and Mia of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Mitchell Kelough of Ponca City; Alyssa Kelough of Seminole; Tasha Wright husband Maurice Mack IV, Maurice Sabastian MackV, Andrew Douglas, Alexander Douglas partner Marisa Castro and Elle Katherine Douglas of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mikaela, Sierra and Tully (Fish) Bison of Phoenix, Arizona. Brothers; Tommy Factor and wife Pat of Seminole, Dan Factor and wife Denise of Wewoka along with numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Wake Service will be held from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka by Reverends Frank Moppin and Dan Factor.

A luncheon will be provided at Akasvmkv Baptist Church at 12:00 PM.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 3, 2024 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka with Reverend Jimmy Anderson officiating assisted by Reverends Frank Moppin, Curtis Kinney and Dan Factor as moderator.

Interment will follow at Tate Mountain Cemetery, Wewoka Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Christophor Burgess, Gary Burgess, Dennis Fish Jr, Kenny Fish, Mitchell Kelough, and Garrett Burgess.

Honorary Pallbearers: Grady Burgess, Vinny Fish, Tully (Fish) Bison, Robert Kelough, Paul Factor, Jeff Harjo and John Luke Factor.
